Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of MenuLingo. You are contracting with Abdelhak perosnal business (legal business/entity name), trading as MenuLingo ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account, purchasing a plan, or continuing to use the service, you accept and agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

1. Your account

You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity on your account. If you are using MenuLingo on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

2. Acceptable use

You must not misuse the service. In particular, you must not: (a) use it for unlawful purposes; (b) commit fraud, send spam, or deceive guests; (c) infringe anyone's intellectual property or other rights; or (d) interfere with the security of the service (including malware, probing, scraping, or attempting to bypass technical limits). We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these rules.

3. Plans, billing and payments

Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly recurring basis until cancelled. Paddle Merchant of Record disclosure: our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, taxes, cancellations and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Checkout Buyer Terms. You can cancel any time from your billing settings; your plan remains active until the end of the current billing period. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy, which offers a 30-day refund window and explains how to request a refund through paddle.net or by contacting us.

4. Translations

Translations are produced by automated tools and may contain errors. Always review them before publishing.

5. Intellectual property ownership

IP ownership: we (and our licensors) retain all rights, title and interest in and to the MenuLingo service, including the software, design, branding and documentation. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service in accordance with your subscription plan. You retain ownership of the menu content you upload, and grant us a limited license to host and process it solely to provide the service to you.

6. Service availability

MenuLingo is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

7. Account suspension and termination rights

Suspension and termination: we may suspend or terminate your access to the service if: (a) you materially breach these Terms; (b) you fail to pay applicable fees; (c) we reasonably believe your account poses a security or fraud risk; or (d) you repeatedly or seriously violate our acceptable-use rules. You may close your account at any time. On termination, your right to use the service ends; we may delete your data after a reasonable export window.

8. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability under these Terms is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, special or incidental damages, including loss of profits, data or goodwill. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or in-app notice. Continued use of the service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
